About Villa Alarelle

Villa Alarelle is our beautiful six bedroomed villa built in 2005. Based in the ancient wine-growing hillside village of Montouliers in Herault,  Occitania (formerly Languedoc), France. The villa is only available for rental during the summer season for parties of up to 12.

It is surrounded by the vineyards of the Minervois and St.Chinian but is only a 30 minute drive to the Mediterranean coast and approximately 20 km to each of the regional centres of Narbonne and Beziers. It is approximately an hour’s drive away from each of the cities of Montpellier, Perpignan and Carcassonne.

There are many local services including restaurants, bakers, supermarkets, doctors and dentists all within a 10 km radius of the villa in the local villages and small towns, such as Capestang which also service the Canal du Midi which flows through the area. The village of Montouliers itself has a village store providing milk, bread, wine and general provisions every morning (other than Monday) and also during the late afternoon/evening and there is a new Intermarche supermarket and petrol station only about 3km away at Argeliers by the D5 junction.

The villa’s 6 bedrooms are split into 2 double bedrooms with en suites and 4 twin bedrooms with 2 further bath/shower rooms. There is also an additional cloakroom.

The main kitchen is fully equipped with an American style fridge/freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher and the dining area provides seating for 12. There is also an ample lounge area with a 42 inch plasma TV. The villa is also connected to Orange.Fr broadband internet and wi-fi is available for the benefit of our visitors throughout the villa.

A separate laundry room has two large washing machines available for use.

Outside, in the landscaped gardens, there is a heated 12.5 metre pool and a competition standard private tennis court. There is also seating for 12 to dine outside plus a large number of sun loungers and a Weber barbecue.

All linen and towels are provided for visiting guests and a cot and highchair are also available.
